Dr. Al-Bagdady is Consultant Neurologist and Neurophysiologist at Nelson and Christchurch Hospitals. He has the full vocational registration of the Medical Council of New Zealand, 85803.
Dr. Al-Bagdady is Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). He is member of the Australian New Zealand Association of Neurologists (ANZAN), the New Zealand Association of Neurologists (NANZ) and the Neuromuscular Society of Australia and New Zealand (NMS ANZ)
Dr. Al-Bagdady has undergone extensive advanced EMG Neurophysiology training in New Zealand and at the Mayo Clinic in the USA. He was granted the accreditation in Neurophysiology from the Australian and New Zealand Association of Neurologists (ANZAN) as EMG supervisor, reflecting his experience in the field.
Dr. Al-Bagdady also holds active European Board certification in Neurology, this was granted in 2007 after successful completion of 5-year training program in Hungary.
Before relocating to New Zealand in 2023 with his family, Dr. Al-Bagdady also practiced for several years in the UAE, further adding to his international experience and recognition.
Dr. Al-Bagdady speaks Arabic, English and Hungarian. He loves spending time with family, fishing and hiking.
